Experiment: The effect of water pollution on marine life.
We talked with children about the causes of water pollution and its impact on marine life. We explained what we can do to prevent water pollution.
Ingredients: 2 glasses, water, watercolor, napkin.
***We add some water to a glass. This is clear water. Now we color the water with watercolor and turn it into dirty water. The napkin represents a sea creature for us. This could be a Caretta Caretta or a fish. We roll the napkin and put one end into the dirty water and the other into the empty glass. We observe the change in the napkin. We observe how sea creatures are affected when the waters are polluted.
